- How do I determine the correct wattage?
Look at the fixture. Usually it tells
you what wattage of bulbs to use.
Note: The wattage indicated on the fixture is the maximum wattage,
so you may also use bulbs below that wattage but not higher. Using
a higher wattage may cause the lamp to get very hot, and is highly
recommended that you use the correct wattage.
